"Something is definitely wrong." Sakura explained into the phone to Tomoyo. She pulled the thin layer of cloth from her window to take another look outside. As far as the eyes could see, street lights were blinking on and off nonstop. Tomoyo nodded. "It isn't natural. have you heard anything on the news? I haven't heard anything but that they have no idea what is going on." "Same here." she replied. "I can sense some kind of strange aura. But, it is different from a Clow card. At least, I think it is." A sigh could be heard through the phone. "I thought the whole card capturing was over when you caught the last card." Sakura shook her head, confusion filling her mind. "That is what I thought too. But, I guess I was wrong. Maybe Kero was wrong. What if there are more cards. Cards that are out there making people's lives miserable!" "Sakura-chan! Calm down!" Tomoyo shouted into the phone. "Everything is all right! It always turns out all right." She said softly, lowing her voice. "G-gomen, Tomoyo-chan. I have been thinking to much lately. I'm going to go shopping for a while. Okay?" Tomoyo's voice brightened. "Would it be all right if I came with you?" Sakura smiled to herself. "Sure." ****** "Oi! Koushiro! I'm leaving to go to Japan!" Syaoran yelled to Koushiro's door. "I'm leaving in a few minutes, and I don't know when I will be back. You better keep the place clean or you won't be able to stay here anymore." Koushiro sat up in bed. Startled form his slumber. "Okay. Have fun..." he mumbled, sleep still eating away at him. He fell back onto the soft bed with a grunt. (Wait... did he say in a few minutes... TO JAPAN!?!?) He jumped up and fell flat on the floor twisted in the mob of blankets. After many moments of struggling, Koushiro managed to pull himself out of the heap and out the door. "Is there anything else I should bring?" Syaoran asked Sakura as they stood in the middle of his now almost empty room. She pointed to a painting that was hanging on the wall. "I want that one." She explained. Syaoran did as he was told and placed the portrait into a box. "Syaoran. I have to talk to you." Koushiro spoke slowly, nodding for him to come into the hall. "You stay there Sakura." Sakura gave a surprised look, then smiled sweetly. "All right. you go ahead Syaoran." Koushiro looked once more at Sakura before taking himself and Syaoran into the hallway. "We need to talk." "About what exactly?" Syaoran asked, crossing his arms across his chest. "About her." He nodded toward the bedroom where Sakura sat. "And about you going to Japan. I don't think this is a good idea. And you have been acting really weird lately." Syaoran shook his head confused. "What do you mean? I've changed? I haven't changed one little bit. And what about Sakura? do you not want me to be with the one who means more than the world to me? Aren't you happy for me that after who knows how many years, I can finally see her again! And happy for me that I can go back to Japan where I belong with the girl I belong with?!?" Syaoran's voice had raised to a yell. "Do you want me to be single all my life?" Koushiro stood amused at his friends attitude. There was definitely something wrong with him. "No." he replied solemnly. "I want you to be happy." "Then let me." With that, Syaoran walked into his room and grabbed the last box, and after whispering something to Sakura, he and Sakura left. Minutes past, yet Koushiro staid stagnant. He stood in the middle of the empty hall, unmoving, eyes barely slits. He was glaring straight forward, scowling at nothing inparticular. "She's a witch," he began, " nothing but a cute, sweet looking, sugar coated, spell casting witch." ****** Sakura smiled to herself, a smile of victory. To Syoaran, it was nothing more than a smirk of happiness, yet, Syaoran was limited to information. He had no idea as to what was ahead of him. ****** "This one's cute!" Tomoyo exclaimed, pointing to a necklace with a blue jewel in the center. "What do you think Sakura? Should I get it?" Sakura nodded. "It is really pretty. It will look good on you." She smiled sweetly at her friend. A though came to Tomoyo when she saw a matching necklace, only in a deep shade of pink. "How about we both have one! My treat." She looked up at Sakura, and shrugged. "What do you think? I think this one fits you." "I like the idea. But, I can buy my own. don't go to the trouble." Sakura said as Tomoyo held the necklace up to her. "Arigato, Tomoyo-chan." She added. Tomoyo gave a confused look. "What are you apologizing about?" "For making me feel normal again." "Hey, that's what I'm here for. Remember?" She smiled, and took the accessories to the check-out counter. "These please. Thank you." Sakura smiled as she watched Tomoyo. She felt like her regular self again. No longer a card captor. Just a regular teenage girl. Sakura's smiled quickly faded. A strong, beating pain began rushing through her head. "Why... Why is this happening?" She clutched her forehead trying to dull the pain, although it didn't do any help. "Are you all right? What's wrong Sakura?" Tomoyo asked, rushing to her friends side and grabbing her shoulders. "It... It just hurts so much. But why?" With a thumb, Sakura on her knees, still holding her head. "Please... Tomoyo, make it stop." The feelings were so powerful, she could barely feel or even hear Tomoyo's desperate cries. The next thing she knew, everything was black. ****** "Please keep you seat belts buckled, and you're tray tables up as we land." A voice from all around the plane repeated. "We're almost there Syaoran." Sakura exclaimed, looking over Syaoran and out the window. "Wow! It's so pretty isn't it?" Syaoran nodded in reply, but continued to stare forward. "We can soon live happily forever. No one to try and break us apart. it will just be the two of us. forever. With no interruptions." he said, in a monotone voice. A smile crossed Sakura's lips as she hugged Syaoran's arm tighter, resting her head on his muscular shoulder. "Together, forever." ****** Alrighty then. After many many weeks of waiting, here it is.
