Chapter 9
"Ring! Ring! Hi. You have reached the residence of Li Syaoran. I am not
there right now. Please leave a message at the tone." Sakura heard for
the tenth time that night. Sakura hung up the phone, losing hope that
she would ever reach her beloved. She needed to know what was wrong. <
We being the readers are always in a sound proof tank so we can't tell
the act/ors or tresses what is happening > after they had admitted their
feelings to each other, they were never hesitant. The phone rang,
interrupting her thoughts. " Hello, Kinomoto residence, Sakura
speaking." She answered on habit. Then, she realized that no one was
there. The phone rang again. Sakura then noticed it was her Clow cell
phone. "Hello, Sakura." She answered. There was no need to say the other
junk considering that only two people and one magical beast knew that
number, Tomoyo, Kero, and her beloved. She heard Tomoyo speaking
rapidly. Tomoyo then let out a scream that could turn anyone's blood to
ice. Sakura knew what she must do. After pressing a few buttons, she
traced the call to Tokyo Tower. She grabbed her key, cards, and the
newest outfit Tomoyo had made her. Quickly, she ran down the stairs and
out into the night.
