Chapter 1: Back to School
Hi everybody Sparkle here. I just want to say that this is my first fanfic ever, so please enjoy!

Sakura: I'm sure it's a great story!

Li: Yeah sure, it probably sucks.

Me: Hey!

Li: Well you have no imagination.

Me: I do too!

Li twirls in the air like graceful butterfly in a pink fluffy tutu.

Li: Hey! Ok I'm sorry just start the fanfic.

Sakura: Awwww you look so cute!

Me: Don't mess with me Li or you'll end up wearing one of Madison's costumes for Sakura.

Li: Eeeeeeeep!!!!

Me: On with the fic!

This takes place at the starting of the school year; they are 17 years old and are juniors at
Jefferson High School (I made it up!). Sakura and Li are barely going out and Madison is going
out with Eriol. Meilin is in this story but is going out with Jason. Watch out for there will be
S+S mush in this story. (Sakura cheers!)

Sakura stood on the edge of a building looking into darkness as a loud agonizing wail erupted
into the dark night.

" Huh?! What was that?" Sakura said terrified of the painful sound. She turned around and saw
Li next to her. He was looking towards the sound with a determined look on his face. Another
wail came out, only louder this time. This time though, Sakura could make out words in the
wail.

" Heeeeeeeeeeeeelp meeeeeeeee!"

" Who are you?" Sakura asked timidly, "What's wrong?"

" Soooooo alooooone." Came another wail.

Sakura stepped forward in a trance. She fell forward and rushed to the ground.

" Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!" Sakura screamed at the top of her lungs. But just as she
was going to hit the ground she heard a familiar voice.

" Sakura wake up," " Sakura! You're going to be late for school!"

Sakura sat up in cold sweat. The guardian beast of the seal was floating a few inches in front of
his mistress' face.

" Sakura are you okay?" he asked in deep concern.

" Huh?" " Oh, yeah sure kero. I had that dream again. What does it mean?"

The guardian beast was in deep thought at this question. ' What does it mean?' "
Hmmmmmmm It seems to me, that you're going to be late for school on your first day back!"

" Huh?! Oh no I'm late!" It was the same routine year after year of school day mornings.
Sakura rushed around the room pulling on her uniform. Her high school uniform was sort of the
same as the elementary uniform, only that the skirt was a bit longer and the colors were dark
purple and dark blue.

" Sakura! You're going to be late!" Aiden called up the stairs.

" Uh, coming!" Sakura answered back.

A purple-eyed girl quickly scanned the crowd in front of the school. Finally her eyes settled on
an auburn haired girl skating towards the school.

" Sakura! Over here!" Madison Taylor waved her arms in the air.

" Madison, hi! How was your summer?"

" Great Sakura. How was your trip?"

" Wonderful, the beach was amazing. And look I got a tan!"

" Great. So, um, Sakura have you talked to Li?"

Sakura shook her head, "Oh um no I got back home late last night. So tell me what did he do
this summer?"

" Well pretty much only talk about nothing but you. He sort of moped around. He misses you
an awful lot."

" Is that so?"

A chestnut brown haired Chinese young man looked around for a certain green-eyed girl. Then
he finally spotted his precious treasure. The young warrior rushed over in his record-breaking
speed.

Sakura was telling Madison all about the scuba diving she did, when all of the sudden she was
tackled to the ground. She opened her eyes to look directly into a pair of smiling amber eyes.

" LI!!!!!!!"

" Sakuraimissedyousomuch!" Li said in all of one breath. Then he hugged his angel and kissed
her passionately, not wanting the moment to end.

" Whoa this is great footage!"

Madison was recording the whole scene on her digital camera. Everybody sweat dropped and
fell over anime style.

" Some things never change." Meilin, Jason, and Eriol came over to join them.

Brandon sighed in sheer bliss as he watched the most beautiful girl write down the notes from
the board. ' Why can't Sakura be mine? Why does that brat, Li, have to steal her away? But I
will make her mine, one way or another.' Brandon turned around and saw Sasha, a beautiful
blonde popular cheerleader, make a face at Sakura. 'Ugh!! I hate Sakura! I want Li and Sakura
gets him. Not fair. I just don't get it, I'm 10 times better than Sakura, how come Li drools all
over her?'

" Eewwww. Li stop it!" Sakura said wiping drool pf her arm with her handkerchief. For yes, Li
was indeed literally drooling over Sakura.

" Oops, sorry." Li said with a blush.

So how'd ya like it? It was after all just my first chapter.

Sakura: I loved it, but there's not that much mush in it.

Me: In the next chapter, k?

Meilin: I only had one line!

Eriol: I didn't get to say anything!

Jason: Me too! I didn't say anything at all!

Li: Why'd ya make me drool!

Me: Uh oh, um, um, er, I better go before this gets ugly.

Li: like it hasn't already.

Sparkle runs away as an angry mob with flaming torches chases her.
