"OK you two spill it. ALL of it!" Lou yelled he had noticed the tension in the room.
JC and Becca found themselves telling Lou the whole story. He didn't want to take Becca off the tour because he knew how valuable she would be, so he said he would have to trust them completely. After alltomorrow they were going on tour!
"Becca?" JC asked curiously.
"Yes, Josh?" She replied. Her mind was racing, right now she couldn't tell if she loved Josh or hated him.
"What was the look you shot me today when I first saw you again?" She couldn't deny it any longer, he had always been able to read her mind and did it once again.
"Here we go, just let me finish, ok?....I have spent so long trying to get over you, and I wrote almost everyday to you, after a while when you didn't return my letters I turned to Jeff, and we started dating, the whole deal." tears were forming so she had to finish "After a while I broke up with him because he was scaring me" JC's expression was once again turned into the one he had right before he told Becca he was moving. "He started stalking me and I had to move, and I just blamed you, I guess" JC pulled Becca into a hug by instinct and wouldn't let go.
He said, "Are you done?"
Becca just nodded, "Well want to know why I didn't send those letters back?" Again she just nodded,
" I kept all of those letter's you sent me and I wrote them all back, but every time I tried to send them I got return to sender" Becca felt the need to explain so she dried the tears and told him how her step dad must have taken them, because he hated that JC was dating Becca.
"Listen, before you go back tomorrow, Becca, I have to tell you something"
Becca has never enjoyed those words, "What?" She asked pretending notto be scared.
JC just laughed and told her not to be scared.
"After you sign the contract, we can't be an item at all, it says no transcon employee is allowed to date a transcon artist"
"I am strictly here as a professional, JC, oooh that's weird calling you JC" she said.
The rest of the night went relatively smoothly. Becca had met Chris before so when she saw him again she ran into his arms, something she didn't do for JC.
"What are you doing here, My Partner In Crime?" Poking her in the stomach, Chris asked happily, as he hugged her. Chris hasn't changed at all,she thought.
"Actually, I'm your new pianist." That made Chris pick her up and spinning her around.
"I always knew you would be a great pianist"
"Well I always thought you would become a comedian or something,Chris"
That's when Justin came into the room, "And who might we have here?" The guys burst out laughing.
Lance said," Geez, Platinum your getting as bad as Joey!"
Then a muffled "hey!" came out of the kitchen. Chris just couldn't except that his best friend was back!
Before JC left they were just getting to be friends, then when JC left they got to be best friends, and when he joined N SYNC they lost touch.
"So how's Jeff, kid? Chris said not knowing the truth about him.
Lance, being the sensitive one, noticed something was wrong and immediately changed the subject. "So, you're gonna sign the contract tomorrow?"
Becca just nodded.
"Good luck with John, he's tough, just trust us on this one" After awhile of talking with the guys, she found herself yawning, and decided she better go home.
JC volunteered to drive her home.
"Hello Marie" Becca said cheerfully. It was only her second day here,but she felt welcome.
"Hiya Becca, Lou is expecting you" She said as she winked. She workedher way down the record-filled halls. She got to Lou's door and made her way inside. She wasn't there long, he grabbed her arm and led her down to John, the media relations. He explained what was gonna happen. Apparently, John is this vulture, Becca thought. JC was right, John gave her a speech about seeing any Transcon artist or employee. Again, she couldn't let some past feelings stand in the way of Josh having a great career. If there were some feelings still there she knew she could handle them. After the session with John, Becca went up to practice room, earlier Lou said that practice room A was "her new home." She went in there and closed the door. She started playing another of her favorite songs. Again she started to sing along

Becca was so into her song, she never noticed she had a crowd until around of applause came up when she stopped.
She immediately turned bright red.
JC said, "Why are you so afraid to perform?"
Becca was too afraid to look up just shrugged.
After about 3 more songs memorized, JC pulled her into a reassuring hug.
"Ready?" She stood up and grabbed his hand.
She said, "As I'll ever be" They walked down the hall silently until they reached Lou's office.
Becca knocked on the door.
A muffled "Come in" was heard.
"SURPRISE!!!!" Yelled, JC, Lou, Marie, Lance, Justin, Chris, and Joey.
Becca felt like she was about to cry, they called a "surprise contract-signing party" In one day, she read the contract and signed where she was supposed to sign.
She was now officially a Transcon Employee! She was gonna go on tour with N SYNC! Almost all of her songs were memorized.
A few weeks had passed since the guys had thrown the contract signing party. She was on tour, backstage, at all of the parties. She was basically always with N SYNC. Sometimes fans would even mob Steve and her if they went into the lines. Steve had become another one of her best friends, when the guys had signings or shows she was always with him. She had missed Chris alot, JC and her have become best friends again, Lance and her had a common bond with being able to always listen to what other people had to say. Joey shared the nickname "flirt" with Becca, she had so much fun with him at clubs. Justin and her were always athletic and competitive, so they enjoyed playing games with each other.
So far her old feelings for JC had not been a problem, until he got his ex-girlfriend, Alex. Why Am I jealous? Why do you think, Becca? You dated him for a long time! O so he's not allowed to date? Becca was having this war between the two voices and didn't notice when he said,
"Becca? Hello? I said this is my girlfriend, Alex" JC said. The words echoed through Becca's head: Girlfriend, girlfriend, girlfriend. She tried to be happy for Alex, but she couldn't. When Alex started kissing JC, Becca felt the need to get out of there. Fast.
"Excuse me, I'll just leave you two love birds alone" she managed to choked out. After she left, the tears all poured out. JC knew what was really wrong. She was still hurting from Jeff, and then she had to watch an ex-boyfriend who had hurt her kiss another girl. JC ran after of her out the door.
"Becca! Wait up!" Becca wouldn't let him see her cry, better yet she couldn't let him see her cry. Becca unlocked her door and went inside, she closed the door in time for JC not to get in.
Your an idiot, Chasez...this whole Alex thing needs to stop now. I can't have Becca, but I don't want to hurt her ... wait to late.
JC knocked on the door. He kept knocking no one was there. He decided to sit down next to her door, he figured she had to come out sometime. Alex had been watching all of this. He had to break it off with Alex. Becca obviously never got over him, so he decided she just needed some time to get over him. Alex got to him first, and Alex broke it off.
