Cancer and Leukaemia In Childhood

I'll do anything to support these charities... any cancer charity in fact...
I chose these two because these are the ones which have touched my life the most; neoplasia in children breaks my heart everytime... and breast cancer runs down the maternal line in my family.
I know we can never entirely prevent cancer, but hopefully, a cure for every kind may someday become reality.

I love how the whole UK has an attack of the sillies when either one of these charities comes round once again...
Running every two years, these charities give aid to those in need in both the UK and Third World countries. Everybody mucks in... from normal people like you and I, to the most famous of celebrities. But it's a sad fact that only 2-2.5% of people who watch the days events on television actually ring in to contribute. Millions of pounds are raised every two years... just think of how much more could be raised if more people rang in to donate...


WWF Panda Passport
the Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society
Okay, so I don't bury myself in tunnels under the Earth...or give myself a suitably natural name like "lumpOmud"... but that doesn't mean I'm not serious about looking after the environment.
I'm a Level Three campaigner (and rising) with the WWF right now,
I've adopted a gorgeous dolphin called Sundance from the WDCS.
...and if I had the money, you could guarantee I'd be buying acres of rainforest to save them from destruction.
It's just a shame that most of mankind is so intent on destroying the beauty in this world.
