Life on the Small Screen
I warn you now.. I have terribly girlie taste in TV shows. I just can't help it...
~runs off to play with my barbies~

My So Called Life
You're so beautiful, it hurts to look at you.
Rayanne

I still love this show, even though it was cancelled over five years ago. It was the first show I ever saw which provoked emotion in me, maybe because like millions of teenagers around the world, we were experiencing the same trouble and angst that is portrayed so explicitly by the characters. I managed to tape a few of them before we lost the show forever... and yes, i still watch them over and over again. ~l~

Sometimes it seems like we're all living in some kind of prison, and the crime is how much we hate ourselves. It's good to get dressed up once in a while and admit the truth. That when you really look closely, people are so strange and so complicated, that they're actually beautiful.
Angela

Although many shows were inspired by the approach taken by the MSCL writers, and teenagers were no longer being patronised through the small screen, I don't think any other show will ever be able to match this one ~s~

It just got so hard to be alone.
Ricky

Friends
Yes, hitting her with a frying pan's a good idea. We might wanna have a back up plan though, just in case she isn't a cartoon.
Chandler

I can still remember seeing this being advertised, prior to it hitting the small screen here in England, and thinking, "Oooh, I really wanna see that." So naturally, I forgot completely about it. I did however manage to catch it about three or four episodes into its first series... and I've loved it ever since. I hate that its so mainstream, but I just can't stop laughing at that Chandler bloke...

I can't believe two cows made the ultimate sacrifice so you two could watch TV with your feet up.
Phoebe
They were chair shaped cows. They never would have survived in the wild.
Chandler

I know the show has to end sometime but hell, this show is gonna keep me laughing long past its final episode... ~s~

I figured after work I'd pick up a bottle of wine, go over there and try to... woo her.
Ross
You know what you should do? Take her back to the 1890s, when that phrase was last used.
Chandler

Dawsons Creek
My life began when I met you.
Pacey

I know it's forever labelled as girlie stuff with teenagers who talk too much.. but I dunno, I just kinda like this. Some of the episodes of this show are so powerful... I like that. I like that it can make me feel. I love the music especially... :)

I understand what you're going through. I know how numbing the pain of hating yourself is and how it makes you want to just push everyone away, especially those who love you the most. But you can't, not if you ever plan on being happy.
Jack

I'd just like to take this opportunity to say...Joey! Dont ever go back to Dawson..he's just whines far too much about every little thing! Stick with Pacey.. he's funny, he's smart and hey... he's actually Canadian. What more could you want? ~L~

Thank you for everything you've done for me, thank you for forcing me to become the man that you've made me. Just thank you.
Pacey

Frasier
As soon as she came out of the kitchen with no eyebrows, we knew dessert was ready. To this day, the smell of burning hair puts me in the holiday spirit.
Daphne

I love this. The humour in this show is quite unlike any I've come across before... just a single look from a character on here ~ particularly if its Niles ~ can have my friend Ellie and I falling off the couch laughing...

So are you suggesting that I go along and pretend I'm enjoying myself in something that gives me no pleasure at all, just to hear the words "I love you"?
Frasier
Why not? Women have been doing it for centuries.
Daphne

...and to think, it all started as a spin off series. ~s~ It's not your usual comedy formula.. two men in their forties, their Dad, a radio show producer and the physiotherapist/housekeeper. But whatever it is about this show which makes it so funny, I hope they never lose it ~s~

Well, this has been kind of fun, but I must really run. I'm conducting a seminar for multiple personality disorders and it takes me forever to fill out the name tags.
Niles

Buffy the Vampire Slayer
I laugh in the face of danger... then I hide til it goes away.
Xander

It's funny how you can get so caught up in the storyline of this show.. but when you try and describe what happened to someone who didnt see it, you end up sounding like a complete lunatic. ~l~

It hurts sometimes, more than we can bear. If we could live without passion, maybe we'd know some kind of peace. But we would be hollow... Empty rooms, shuttered and dank. Without passion, we'd truly be dead.
Angel

Everyone seems to have different reasons for liking this show... whether it's because of Sarah Michelle Gellar, or the surreal storylines or because it's actually kinda funny. That's the reason I like it so much... I like the one-liners. ~s~ What can I say? I love to laugh. ~s~

When I look into the future, all I see is you. All I want is you.
Buffy

And lets not forget the cartoons...

The Simpsons
Listen brain, I don't like you and you don't like me. So let's hurry up and get this done so I can go back to killing you with beer.

South Park
It's all a bunch of tree hugging hippie crap.

Who said cartoons are just for kids? Cartoons kick ass ~wink~
