Lifes Patchwork
Lifes patchwork
we know it well.
God takes our
ugly without fail.
He takes the pieces
of our sinful heart.
And the patchwork in us
He begins to start.
He takes out sin
covered with His blood.
And gladly replaces it
with His great love.
He takes out greed,
jealousy and hate.
Fills us with a
heart of giving
not a minute to late.
He takes out the
hurt,misery and pain.
And puts in peace,
comfort and love.
All part of the patchwork
from God above.
Lifes patchwork is
changing our heart.
The pieces God's added
have gave us a new start.
Lifes patchwork may
be hard you see.
But God has found
beauty in you and me.
Each piece He replaces
with color,hope,and cheer.
The beauty that happens
inside us because He cares.
Lifes Patchwork God
continues in us still.
And the beauty He found
brings us into His will.
Lifes patchwork is
different for you and me.
Because only God sees
whats needed a beautiful
soul to be.
