If it’s true what they say, I should’ve been happy. What you ask? If it doesn’t kill you, it only makes you stronger. Well, in the months that followed I became a lot stronger. Krissie, Katie and I went on search for a job. Modeling seemed to be the only thing at the moment. Lou let us stay in the house that Kevin and Brian owned. When I got home at the end of the day I’d grab some of Brian’s clothes and just lay with it. It had his smell and it made me feel a lot better. I decided early on that if I did exactly like Krissie I would go crazy. Krissie would just sit in her room all day. Only going outside to do her job. I called Brian twice in 3 months. I’d sit on the phone with him for 5 hours each time he called. According to Lou we could call them once each month. I decided to make the best of the time I got. It was 2 weeks before Christmas and I was wrapping presents when the phone rang.
“Hello?” I asked.
“Nikky?” Nick asked.
“Hey Carter! Sup?” I asked.
“Is Katie There?” He asked.
“UM, Nope, she’s out with some guy” I joked. I heard Nick swear. I was laughing when I heard my door open and Katie peek her head in.
“Carter, wait she just got home” I yelled.
“Great, Lemme talk to her” He begged. I handed her the phone. I grabbed Fricky and ran downstairs. I had a photo shoot with Krissie and some chick named Leighanne. I put Fricky in my jeep and drove to the agency.
“Hey, Krissie” I exclaimed. The blonde lady, who I guessed was Leighanne, waved at me.
“You must be Nicole” She exclaimed. I smiled.
“You must be Leighanne, Glad to meet ya” I laughed.
“Ladies, you stand over there, I be with you soon” Some guy yelled at us. Krissie leaned over a whispered “GAY” in my ear. I nodded and went to change into the clothes he wanted us to put on. After we were done Krissie and I still needed to finish shopping.
“Hey, I have nothing to do, Can I come shopping with you guys?” Leighanne questioned. I looked at Krissie and shrugged.
“Sure Leigh” I replied. She smiled and grabbed her purse. We got to the shopping mall about 5pm. I ran to Sam Goody to see the Backstreet Boys CD, which they had just released in the US.
“Look how cute B Looks” I yelled.
“Look at Kevy” Krissie responded.
“Do you know them?” Leighanne asked.
“Yeah, these are our boyfriends” Krissie said proudly.
“Oh, cool” Leighanne exclaimed. I smiled at her and walked toward Sears to get Brian some cologne for Christmas. When Krissie and I got back to the house, Katie was still on the phone.
“Katie is going out with the Blonde guy” I told Leighanne.
“OH, I see” She replied. I put Fricky down on the carpet when Katie waved me to come over.
“Hey baby” Brian said into the phone.
“Brian” I screamed. I ran upstairs with the phone into my room.
“Hey, how r u?” Brian asked.
“I’m great, I met this really nice chick today” I told him.
“Yeah, me too” Brian joked. I laughed.
“I miss you” I mumbled.
“Hey, only 1 more week till we come to the US, I’ll be home for Christmas” Brian explained.
“I know” I whimpered. His voice just made me want to cry.
“Hey, what’s the matter?” Brian questioned.
“I’m going to be so excited the day when you guys arrive, I’ll probaly have a heart attack” I joked. Brian’s end was quiet.
“I was joking B” I told him. Brian drew in a deep breath.
“Brian?” I asked.
“I got to go baby, I’ll see you soon” Brian whispered.
“Brian, Brian” I yelled. The phone on his end went dead and I just sat in my room looking at the ceiling.
I sat in my room thinking. Was B with someone else? Is that why he had to leave? Or was it something else? A million questions ran through my brain. I turned on the radio to hear “Lean On Me”. I started to sing the words and I suddenly felt better. Krissie slammed open my door.
“Hey, In 2 days Leigh wants to know if we can go caroling with her? It’s for ill children” Krissie asked.
“Yeah, that would be cool” I gushed. I ran downstairs and together we decided what songs we were going to sing. I woke up at 6am on the day that we were to go caroling. I grabbed my coat and ran downstairs.
“Two days till christmas” Katie squeled.
“You mean two days till we see the guys” Krissie replied.
“Hey, I’m going to have to meet these guys, you talk so much about them” Leigh exclaimed. I smiled.
“Yeah, sure Leigh, We got to get going” I yelled. Krissie grabbed the keys and we all jumped into my jeep. We got to the building at about 7am and walked around. Krissie was jumping up and down being an ass when she bumped into a chick.
“Sorry” Krissie apoligized. Angela turned around and smiled.
“Well, Well, Well” She growled.
“Hey D” Krissie exclaimed.
“Did you even noticed I left you guys in europe?” Angela yelled.
“You did?” Katie questioned. Angela rolled her eyes and grabbed a blonde guys arm.
“I’d like you brats to meet my man, Justin Timberlake” Angela exclaimed.
“Hey ladies” Justin said. He looked about 15. Another guy with brown hair turned around.
“Hey, I’m JC Chasez” The brown haired guy said. I smiled at him. He looked pretty hot. Then I stopped, I couldn’t think of anyone else but Brian. We had to get ready so we left the guys.
“God, that JC guy was fine” I yelled.
“NICOLE, How could you?” Katie joked.
“Easily” I mumbled. Leighanne laughed for some reason. She had this weird look on her face. After that Krissie and Kevin had wild sex in the jaquizee (can't spell)!!!!!!
