The Story Of My Life~Chapter 3

It was August 1st. The boys were really busy touring so they picked me to go and do an interview on TV. I was so nervous as I walked toward the stage. The night before I’d gotten my finger stuck in a door that Nick closed. So my finger was bandaged up. I heard the screams and shouts of the audience. I opened the drape and walked out onto the stage. In a black dress and high heeled shoes it wasn’t very easy to walk. My legs were shaking and I was very happy to sit down.

“Hey Nicole, How r u? Wilson, the MTV Europe VJ yelled.

“Great” I yelled back.

“So, what everyone wants to know is, what r the guys really like?” Wilson questioned.

“Their a great bunch of guys” I responded.

“C’mon we know you can do better, habits, likes and dislikes, maybe in girlfriends” Wilson commented.

“Well, Nick at 16 is probaly my best friend out of them all. Then comes AJ at 19, he looks tuff but he’s a sweety underneath. Then comes Brian, he’s 21 and loves to play B-Ball, I don’t talk with him much actually. Next, is Howie he’s 23, he’s a great guy, but I don’t talk to him at all usually. Last is Kevin, he’s 25, he always is there for me when I need to ask questions. As far as I know, all the guys are single” I explained. Sure, I lied a little bit. Howie had a girlfriend and Brian just broke up with Samantha.

“Thanks a lot Nicole” Wilson said. I stood up and hugged him. I felt his hand go around my waist then to my butt. I pulled away and smiled. Then walked out.

I got to the bus about 6pm. I’d gone to the hospital right after the interview so a doctor could look at my hand. I walked in to see all the guys staring at me.

“Um, What?” I questioned.

“We saw Wilson grab your butt” AJ explained.

“So? It wasn’t anything big, just a friendly butt squezze” I joked. Lou Pearlmann walked in two minutes after that, looking mad.

“I have some bad new Nicole, the other 3 girls, Angie, Katie and Krissie have been taken off our label. Their CD isn’t selling and we took them off the Backstreet Boys tour. The Spice Girls are taking all the girls fans at this point. Just wanted to let you know” He said, then turned around and left.

“What a jerk, I hope he dies” I yelled. The bus door opened again except this time is was Katie, Krissie, and Angie.

“Can we stay at your hotel tonight?” Katie asked. Howie just nodded. Kevin grabbed their bags and we all made our way up toward the hotel room. When we got upstairs I fell on the couch and just laid there.

“What do we wanna do tonight?” Nick questioned.

“I don’t care Nick, It’s my birthday tomorrow thou” I explained.

“Oh yeah, I almost forgot” Krissie squeled. Brian brought some blankets in from the rooms and laid them on the floor.

“Listen, I think the 5 of us can take the floor while you girls can share the beds” He explained.

“I’ll take a bed with one of the ladies” AJ joked. I picked up a pillow and shot it at his head. I ran to the radio and turned on one of Journey’s songs.

“I call dibbs on the shower” I yelled. I got off the couch and ran to the shower.

1 HOUR LATER

I got out of the shower and ran to my bag, to find that my bag was outside. I pulled the towel around me tight(you all know those SMALL towels they give you at hotel’s).

“RUFF” AJ barked. I turned around and gave him the finger.

“Where is everyone?” I questioned. Noticing everyone was gone.

“They went for a swim” AJ Replied.

“Oh, I guess I’ll go to” I said, grabbing my suit.

“I think I will to” AJ joked, grabbing his leopard skined print speedo.

I closed the door and ran downstairs. AJ was on my tail the whole way down. I was guessing we looked pretty funny. I was in a bright pink bikini while he wore his speedo! I got to the pool and opened the door. Katie and Nick were talking to eachother on one side of the pool. Krissie and Kevin on another, Angela and Brian on another side. I stopped in my tracks and just stared at them. I didn’t know why it felt so weird. I felt like my heart had been ripped out. AJ stood behind me giving me a weird look. That’s when It hit me. I was in love with one of the guys. I tried to act casual, but when you find out something like this, it isn’t that easy. I gathered up courage and walked toward the pool.
