SECTION 1
Name The name of the organization shall be the CANADIAN SHOW DOGS FOUNDATION and shall bereinafter be referred to as the Foundation.

SECTION 2
Statement of Purpose The Canadian Show Dogs Foundation raises funds to provide financial contributions to:
- 1. individuals and/or
- 2. organizations
who share our objectives in supporting the needs of the purebred dog community in Canada.
SECTION 3
Areas of Operation While the Foundation's main objective is to support individuals and organizations within the Borders of Canada the Foundation may decide to support:
- 1. Canadian Organizations with International Affiliations
- 2. Foundation Supporters located outside Canada.

SECTION 4
Logo The logo, an impression of which is reproduced in the margin, shall be the official logo of the Foundation. (Note: logo still to be determined)
SECTION 5
Objectives The objectives of the Foundation shall be;
- a) to engage in the raising of funds to help qualifying individuals and/or organizations achieve their worthwhile goals. Removed: in accordance with our prescribed mandate.
- b) to research individuals and organizations in the Canadian purebred dog community, who meet our criteria for funding assistance. moved rest of sentence to c)
- c) to provide such individuals and/or organizations with full or partial funds under the guidelines set forth by our membership.
- d) to educate the general public about the Foundation and about the various projects the Foundation supports.

SECTION 6
Operations While The Foundation operates as a Non Profit organization for the benefit of individual and organizations through its fundraising efforts, the Foundation may accrue funds over time to provide additional support for individual or organizations without direct benefit to any member.
SECTION 7
The members shall adopt and adhere to the Constitution & Bylaws, Policies & Procedures, and other legal instruments of the Foundation as established by the membership. The members may from time to time revise such Bylaws as may be required to carry out these objectives.

ARTICLE 1

SECTION 1
Eligibility Membership shall be limited to those persons interested in furthering the objectives set forth in the Constitution, and who agree to abide by the Constitution, Bylaws, and other legal instruments of the Foundation.
SECTION 2
Classes There shall be three (3) classes of individual members as follows;
- a) Associate Members Associate members shall be those persons who have paid the prescribed fee and who have been elected to membership in accordance with the Bylaws, ARTICLE..., SECTION... Associate members shall not vote at any meeting, nor hold a position on the Executive Council, nor vote in any election or referendum.
- b) Active Members/Charter Members Active members and Charter members shall be those persons who have paid the prescribed fee and are eighteen (18) years of age or older. Active members must have held Associate membership in the CSDF for a period of one full calendar year (exemption is made for Charter members). A formal application for Active membership is not required. Active members and Charter members shall be eligible to vote and stand for election.
- c) Junior Members Junior members shall be those persons who have paid the prescribed fee and are under the age of eighteen (18). Junior members shall not vote at any meeting, nor hold a position on the Executive Council, nor vote in any election or referendum. Once the member reaches the age of eighteen (18), and has met the qualification for an Active membership, the Junior membership will be converted to Active membership status.
