"The Cell" is a psychological thriller starring Jennifer Lopez, Vince Vaughn and Vincent D'Onofrio. Jen plays a scientist/shrink that through a mind machine can visit the mind of a person. Their dreams, fears, and passions in an environment of their choosing. D'Onofrio plays a serial killer that only will kill women and turn their bodies into human dolls. He is captured and the only way to really know where victims are is for Jen to visit his mind. His mind is a horrible vision of himself as a child and as an evil god. The strong point of this movie are the special effects, the costumes and the sets. The acting is decent, the script is kinda weak and the concept of some of the movie seems like it was written at 3 in the morning. It's a visual adventure.
