Favorite Movies
Here I will list the best movies in my opinion that I've ever seen. Rent them and enjoy.
Movies
- Evil Dead Trilogy - The stepping stone for the famous Bruce Campbell, these low budget but very entertaining movies made their way across the world. In fact, the first one is the best selling movie of all time in Europe.
- The Fifth Element - An extremely well done futuristic sci-fi thrill ride with Bruce Willis, Gary Oldman, and Milla Jovovich. The sets are amazing, the acting is well done, and the plot is to die for.
- Desperado - Robert Rodriguez's sequal to a lone guitar player that instead of a guitar in his case, he has enough guns to take on the army of a small country. Antonio Banderas stars, and gives the performance that makes him a star.
- Fargo - The Coen Brother's most interesting and most fun movie for sure. A black comedy with William H. Macy and Steve Buscemi. Based on a true story, a man pays two scumbags to kidnap his wife and they would split the ransom money paid by her father. But nothing ever goes as planned.
- From Dusk Till Dawn - Once again, Robert Rodreguez and Quentin Tarantino join to make a bang up job of a movie. Starring George Clooney and the Q man himself, the two play the Gecko brothers who, after escaping from jail, are on the run from the law goin to Mexico. All they have to do is spend the night at the Titty Twister bar. But it's gonna be one hell of a night.
- Get Shorty - A movie about a movie. Well, more about stealing a movie. This John Travolta film shows the dog eat dog side of Hollywood.
- Murder By Death - Not a very well known movie, this murder mystery is a parody of all the different detectives through the years. They're all invited to a house for dinner and a murder. This comedy has great acting and wonderful punchlines.
- Star Wars Movies - Of course I have to include these in the list, they're just classics. If you don't know what Star Wars is...where the hell you been all these years? Living under a rock?
- Ghostbusters - A Comedy and special effects classic. Bill Murray leads a cast of headliners with this movie that made history with filmmaking.
- Bring On The Night - A biography starring Sting. His first solo concert after leaving The Police takes place in Paris, France. For 2 hours they follow the writing, rehearsing, practicing, and the coming of the big night.
- Billy Madison - Now it may not have won any awards, but this is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. Adam Sandler gives a performance like a 2 year old, and matures to a 20 years old going through school again. Damn he's funny.
- Austin Powers - Now I know you know what this movie is, so I'm not sayin anything.
- Predator - Action/Adventure starring Arnold. He and his team go into the jungle to rescure some soldiers, and realize that they're being hunted. But what is hunting them?
- Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story - Now I was obsessed with Bruce Lee for awhile, and this movie portrays his life pretty damn well. Great fight scenes, and a good dramatic story too.
- Spaceballs - Mel Brooks's take off of Star Wars, with Bill Pullman, and John Candy. Laughs that will make milk squirt out your nose fly rampant.
- As Good As It Gets - Jack Nicolson gives one of the best performances I've ever seen in this story of him, an obsessive compulsive, and his adventures with his gay neighbor and his waitress at the only restaurant he'll go to in New York City.
- The Wedding Singer - I love this movie for the story. It's definately my favorite love movie. The chemistry between Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore is great, and it's a pretty funny movie too.
- The Matrix - Damn, I could watch this movie over and over for hours and still be entertained every time. It's such a pleasure to watch, and I can't wait for the sequals.
- Nothing But Trouble - Yet another little known comedy with Chevy Chase and Demi Moore. The two get picked up for speeding and are taken to a mansion of a judge that is kinda off his rocker. Let's say he's more on the floor than on the rocker. It gets crazier and crazier as it goes through.
- The Rocky Horror Picture Show - A Must see for everyone in the world. Cross dressing, sex, drugs, violence, and music all rolled into a cult classic like no other.
