A little preface to what lies before you right now. Back in 1999, when we started Hello!CHiNA, we had no idea what we were getting ourselves into and that people would actually see this page. See, I have recently become aware that we have affected people that we didn't even know. Ase and I were out with a girl, we'll call her Aras just for fun, at Starbucks (ah, i know.), and we ran into this kid. Now, Ase and Aras used to work with him. I, Boo Rickets, however, had never met him before. They were talking about something, and she introduced me and he looked at me for a moment and then said, "Oh my god, are you the one with the website?" Hah, and I said, "yes." He was like, "Oh my god, that's was the trippiest thing i've ever read. i was like, what are these kids smoking?" And Ase was like, "You looked at that page like two years ago!" and he said "Yeah, but I'll never forget it." I remember this because i tend to remember gracious compliments directed towards infalting my ego. So enjoy what made us who we are, and don't forget us, kids.
