ALL ABOUT SCOUT:
My dog's full name is: Scout Skittle Eginton. Scout is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi. She is brown, has big ears, (which are so cute!) a long body, short chubby legs, and no tale. Scout's mom's name is Topaz. Scout has a white spot of fur in the shape of a triangle on the back of her neck (we call it her cotton ball). She has black fur where her tail would be if she had one. Scout is around one and a half years old. She is smaller than most Cogis. Scout got her name from the girl in "To Kill A Mocking Bird," because Scout is real spunky like the girl in the movie.
My mom and I were looking everywhere for a litter of Pembroke Corgis. The only one we could find was six hours away from our house. By the time we got there, only one puppy was left. Lucky for us Scout turned out to be the perfect dog.
When we got there Scout was about only six inches long with an attitude. Scout and her mom, Topaz, lived on a horse ranch and she had the run of the place. The lady that sold her to us was so sad to see Scout go that she started to cry.
On the long ride home Scout sat quietly on my lap the whole time. We stopped on the way for her to strech her little legs.
When we got home it only took a few minutes for her to get used to the place. And we were happy to find out that she was already housebroken.
