Sierra
Sierra is a purebred husky that I have had since she was 9 weeks old. I fell in love on the spot and could not bear to give her back. Sierra has been a great dog since we first brought her home. As a puppy, she was quick to train and fun to play with. She is now two and still acts like a puppy. She has a very expressive face and especially eyes. When she does something bad, I can't bare to yell at her because she gives me those sad eyes and puts her head down. Sierra definately knows how to work it. She loves to be outside. Exploring new areas gets her very excited. She has been participating in agility since before she was a year old. She does very well except for the Husky problem of not being able to concentrate sometimes. She has her Canine Good Citizen certificate.
Sierra gets many compliments from strangers on how beautiful she is and has been sending out her pics to try and get into modeling. The one pic that I pointed out previously will be published in a book this year.
Sierra lives in the Rocky mountains where she belongs. She loves the snow and hates the heat.
As I mentioned, Sierra loves to play. Her favorite toys are stuffed animals, which she tears up in 5 min flat.
Sierra knows a few cute tricks like high-five and balancing a cookie on her nose and then catching it. She will do anything for a hot dog.
Sierra is very smart. She knows how to tell us she if she is hungry, thirsty, wants to go home, etc. Sometimes Sierra will stare at you, so you know she needs or wants something, other times you just have to ask. You then start asking her, "Sierra, are you hungry, do you want to eat?" If she does, she will lick her lips, if not, pick something else to ask her. She will do this for most of the common questions or activities we do with our dogs, like go for a walk. Many people don't believe us, but once we show them, they are amazed.
Sierra is my baby and one of the best dogs I have ever met!
