Chapter Six
Five weeks later…
Regina awoke to the sound of scuffling feet. “Be quiet,” a voice said, that the sleepy Regina recognized as Nurse Hamilton’s. “She’s still asleep.
Regina attempted to sit up, and rubbed her eyes. When she recognized the figures in her room, she felt as though she would come close to fainting in the near future.
