Death is a two-metre tall skeleton. He has tiny blue, points of light in his eye-sockets. He usually wears a black robe, woven from darkness and sometimes a cloak, fastened with a brooch in the shape of an omega. He carries a scythe, which can cut flame and slice sound, with a blade so thin it is transparent. His voice is heard with the mind, not with the ears. He is only seen by cats, wizards, witches and people who have died or a re about to. He rides a white horse called Binky and likes cats.
Death has an adopted daughter called Ysabelle and a grandaughter called Susan.
