Kodachadri, situated near Kollur on border of Kundapura. This is one of the well known hill trekking. If you stay top of this can watch all around Shimoga, Kundapura and North Canara. A short uphill trek to Kodachadri giving one a vantage point to view the sunset. Certainly don't miss the sunrise. Just like the sunset, this too is a sight that cannot be characterized but to seen and experienced. If you can go with group the enjoyment will be different. Advised to stay overnight and come back next day.
