what would you do with them?

Would you scream at the world
for every wrong doing?
Or would you sit in a corner
and sing a small song?

Would your voice change the world?
Would your voice change a person?
Or would your words blend with others,
first fading then gone?

Would your words bring us freedom,
love and devotion?
Or will they enslave or oppress us,
like we've been all along?

Would your words bring you joy,
or the comfort of others?
Would it bring you just sadness
instead of making you strong?

Words are not given, but earned
through your deeds.
So do not let them be hushed,
but ring out like a gong.
