Chapter Six:
All that wonderful jazz...

It had been about two months since we had gotten home from the tour, so I was four months pregnant and if you knew me you could tell.

I had found a way to model and be pregnant. I was going to model maternity clothes and I was going to do it for all the different months and I had been.

Taylor and I had been making frantic wedding plans and had been planning since the day I found out I was pregnant.

We were getting married on December 24, I found that very romantic, I would be six months pregnant and probably large at that point in time, but I didn’t care I was getting married and then I would have our baby.

But, for now when Taylor and I weren’t planning our wedding or looking for apartments we were having fun with Isaac and Zac as much as we could.

We would swim in the pool in the backyard on whatever warm days we could and sometimes the guys would go roller-blading or skate boarding or anything just to recapture their child hood.

We had resorted to video taping every moment we had before Taylor and I got married. Sometimes I would or Taylor would or Isaac would or Zac would. It depended on what we were doing.

As November rolled around things started getting hectic, I can honestly say things were crazy! I didn’t have any friends that were girls and I didn’t have any sisters. But, Taylor wanted ALL three of his brothers to be groomsmen and he also wanted one of our friends to be in his party.

The bad thing was the only girls I knew or cared about were Jessica, Avie, and Zoë. Zoë was going to be the flower girl so that left me with two bridesmaids and him with four groomsmen. So I had to resort to calling up some of my old friends that had deserted me when my family had died and they said I was making too big of a deal about it. But I did end up with four bridesmaids.

I was afraid to have my wedding dress fitted until like a week before the wedding because who knew how much I would grow in a month and a half. But I did get every guy in their tux and every girl in their dress.

I wanted lavender, but Diana said the color didn’t match the Christmas season so I resorted to a deep scarlet color for the dresses and the theme was white roses, my favorite flower.

It came down to about two weeks before my wedding. My distant family that had fought for me, and not won, came in for the wedding.

The girls threw me a shower and it was quite fun and I finally went and tried on my dress. I was right; I was bigger than I had been a month before.

Weddings were crazy, I was thinking about just leaving the plans and just taking Taylor to Nevada and getting married by an Elvis impersonator.

I wanted my one and only wedding to be perfect and that took perfection from not only me, but from everyone around me. I had everything planned down to the pin-drop. Ahh, all that wonderful jazz… What a great thing marriage, if you could get through the plans than you could, 95% of the time, get through the marriage.

Finally it came down to the night before and Taylor kissed me good-bye. He was off to a bar in Jenks for his bachelor party.

I said good-bye with a quick, “Please have fun.” I didn’t want to take Taylor out of childhood, but I already had, so what do you do?
