The good:
Slender, light and stylish; very well-finished exterior; bright and
colorful display; excellent polyphony. The bad: Vibration is a bit weak; limited battery life; cumbersome messaging system; lacks MMS. The bottom line: Despite the lack of MMS, the SGH-C100 is a good budget phone that stands out for its display and polyphony. It doesn't hurt that this is probably the classiest-looking handset in its category... |

| Tips for C100
1. Don't forget to set up the 2nd APN gateway. You'll need to set this up on order to be able to download Java games and applications. Settings for Singapore users are similar as for the S300. You can get the settings at the S300 page. 2. The phone does not come with a data cable or CD Rom. However, you can download the EasyGPRS software from Samsung Fun Club C100 page. You can also use mostly any infra-red (IrDA) adaptor which you can get from any computer accessories store. 3. The C100 does not accept animated gifs. However, the EasyGPRS includes an image editor for the C100 and you can use it to make a screensaver comprising 4 frames. You can use your own digital pics, or any pics you like. However, you will need to resize the pics to 128 x 97 pixels. Instructions on how to do this are at the Creating Wallpaper & Screensavers page. 4. To light up the screen while keylocked, just press and hold down the side volume key. 5. Most of the other quick tips are similar
to the S300. You can take a look at the S300
page for more. |
