Dragonball It starts out with a little boy named Goku who was raised by his adoptive grandfather Gohan. Gohan is now gone and Goku is left to fend for himself, but not without any way to defend himself. Grandpa Gohan was a brillant martial arts expert and taught Goku everything he knew. Goku then precedes to go on one adventure after another meeting new friends on the way. Dragonball ends with Goku and Chi-Chi getting married when they are about 18 and then DragonballZ starts.
Dragonball is basically the life and adventures Goku has when he was a kid. Here he meets Krillin, Bulma, Yamcha, Oolong, Puar, Chi-Chi, Master Roushi, Ox-King and Launch. With all the people being much younger of course..except master roushi who drank from the fountain of youth.
Dragonball has just started running in America and Toonami will pick up the whole series if it is popular. Right now they are just running a few episodes over and over to see if anyone likes it. I do. I think it fun to see them when they were young and their lives were less complicated.
