There were only a few days left till Cell would begin the Cell Games, which didn't leave much time for everyone to get ready. The Cell Games came soon enough with Goku fighting Cell first, but it seems Goku realized Cell was just too powerful and let his son Gohan fight Cell because he knew Gohan was powerful and stronger than everyone because of everything he's done. Chi-Chi caught a fit, but after along battle Gohan went to stage 2 and defeated Cell with the biggest Ka-me-ha-me-ha.
