Finally the World Martial Arts Tournament has arrived and so has Goku, and he finally meets his son Goten. The two really hit it off and love each other, meanwhile the Junior Division begins with Trunks and Goten at the finals showing off their powers, Trunks became the winner of the Junior Division. Next came up was the Adult Division, the matches were interesting Krillin had an easy victory against a silly guy, but Piccolo had to fight a mysterious and dangerous fighter named Shin who he soon found out was the Supreme Kai. Videl next fought Spopovitch who looked a lot different from the past tournament, when he got defeated by Hercule. Videl lost very badly and had to get serious medical attention, but Gohan gave Videl some senzu beans which helped her right up. Hercule soon realized that Gohan was her boyfriend, he caught a fit. Trunks and Goten disguised themselves as the Might Mask to enter the tournament because they wanted a bigger challenge. Near the end Gohan is asked to turn stage 2 and does, surprising everyone that he is also the Gold Fighter. Soon Spopovitch and Yamu attack Gohan stealing all his energy away from him.
