LOGAN MAN HELD

LOGAN - Oct 1 - Stonewall Conley of Harts creek, was arrested on a charge of shooting Jim Tomblin to death and wounding Ben Priest. When it was said, the two visited his residence, forced his wife to kill and prepare two chickens for their dinner, and then abused and beat the husband.

(Shooting took place September 26, 1923)
