Friends are like puppies 
they never go away.
Close beside you 
they will always stay.


They will be with you 
through heartache and pain.
Walk through the sunshine 
loan their umbrella in the rain.


They'll listen when you talk 
though you did'nt say a word.
Their heart listened
and it truly heard.


They will stick as 
close to you as glue.
Does'nt matter what 
you say or do.


Their love for you is 
unconditional you know.
No matter what they think 
they'll stand beside you.


They will hold you 
up to God in prayer.
Always be there if you 
need someone to care.


They won't try to change 
you they love who you are.
They'll love you inspite 
of yourself no holes barred.


They'll dry each 
tear that you cry.
They will never 
ask you why.


A friends like a 
puppie in many ways.
They'll walk beside 
and closely stay.
