If it were'nt for the rain. 
There would'nt be rainbows.
If Jesus had'nt died on the cross.
Our souls for eternity would be lost.




If it were'nt for loneliness.
There'd be no need for friends.
No one to recieve the love we send.
No one to listen our heart to mend.




If it were'nt for lifes trials and pain.
We'd never grow or have anything to gain.
If it were'nt for the tears late in the night.
We would'nt need the healing or Gods insight.




If it were'nt for the needs we pray about.
We would'nt have victories to praise and shout.
If it were'nt for the valleys so very deep.
We'd never look up to the mountain so steep.





If it were'nt for the battles we have to fight.
We'd never see God in all His glory and might.
If it were'nt for the struggles we face each day.
We'd never feel God leading the way.




If it was'nt for mistakes,things done wrong.
We would'nt see His love has made us strong.
If it was'nt for lifes lessons we've learned.
We'd never learn love or how to forgive.





If it were'nt for the rain. 
There would'nt be rainbows.
If it was'nt for choosing in God to abound.
We'd be lost in sin instead of heavenbound.
