I walked out the door, 
with a friend tonight.
To a beautiful cloud 
shining rays of light.
We stood together sharing 
this glorious sight.
God's love shining down 
on us so bright.


I sent a card 
to a friend today.
Just wanted to cheer 
them in some little way.
They sent one back full 
of love and grace.
What they shared brought 
a smile to my face.


I went for a ride 
with a friend today.
You would not believe 
all we had to share.
We talked,laughed and 
even cryed.
I was truly blessed going 
for that ride.


I went with a friend 
out to the park.
We drank cappachino 
and shared till dark.
We talked about God, 
how much He cares.
Shared our deepest 
doubts and fears.


I picked up the phone,
called a friend today.
Found out things were'nt 
going her way.
I said to her come 
on lets pray.
God lift her up,
and bless her today.



I stopped by a 
friends to visit today.
We had coffee and just 
talked the day away.
We talked about life,
and about death.
Just shared little things 
before we took our last breath.


I went to church 
with a friend today.
Clapping my thumbs 
and singing away.
My friend just smiled 
and grinned at me.
Our hearts met for 
that moment you see.


When you think 
about a friend today.
Do some little thing,
uplift them someway.
For tomorrow it just 
might be to late.
Your friend may be 
waiting at heavens gate.

 
Always remember the little 
things free for the giving.
Are the things that make our 
life worth living.
sharing times,memories 
of a friend.
Will always be with 
you untill life ends.
