Between finishing up with playing in the likes of Mr Grumbold and Pegasus, and before starting to play with the likes of Bananas and Salt (sounds weird!), Adrian played with numerous groups of folk, some of whom appear in these faded photographs. There was 'PREZZY FROG' (an acronym for 'Presbyterians whose faith reveals our God') and 'PACKY FROG (Pam, Adrian, Chris, Kevin, Yvonne - Faith reveals our God). All these good folks were members of the youth group at the Presbyteian Church. Adrian's future wife, the lovely Yvonne, is pictured in their first hug on camera… (when they were about 16 years old and at the time the picture was taken both dating other people!).. Pam was Yvonne's sister, who also ended up married to a Presbyterian pastor. Chris Knowles still lives in Merseyside and went on to play with Christian Rock Band 'Thin Ice'as well as having his own band 'Sound Strategy'. AD & CO featured Tim Rawe and Kevin Mercer, who after Adrian's college years again got together with him and they did numerous concerts as a duo, including releasing a tape, "Live in Mold and Denbigh" PRATTS BADGERS added Graham Marshall, another local musician who played with Adrian at a later date when he pastored churches in Liverpool, performing at the 'Crossfire' festival held at Aintree Racecourse and at Bala Colleges birthday celebrations. A 'Most honourable mention' goes to the guitaringly wonderful Maylor Brothers, Paul and Dave, and to 'Henri' the other half of the one time performance only "Masonic Armpit". (Do the demented ostritch!!) Numerous other folks Adrian enjoyed gigging with included Mike Richards and Hugh Owen and a whole host of people whose photographs were never taken. |
