11. Take your Time

Life is full of complications,
So much to do and so little time,
Making plans that need fulfilling
Keeping the vision before your eyes.

Got no need to hurry,
Take your time don't worry,

You'll get there in the end.

Deadlines to meet, demands which are pressing,
No time to lose, no time to spare,
Everybody wants everything today, they won't wait a minute,
So many people rushing everywhere,

Got no need to hurry...

You only have the one life you are living,
Co-existing within the constraints of time,
The world can get around without you,
Be sure you don't rush away your life.

12.  All I ever wanted
-------------------------
Never wanted much out of life,
Except to be happy.
Never searched for much in life,
Except a satisfied mind.
Some people set their sights higher and higher,
They want to have it all,
And have it all, all of the time.
They want to get rich and they want to be famous,
But I never wanted to be just the same as the rest.

All I ever wanted was to sing my song,
And to let my music play,
I've got this music burning in my heart,
Want to let it loose, let it free,
Let it fly to the light of day,
(Let my music play.)

Never wanted to be a preacher spouting words from an ivory tower,
How can I tell the world how to be living,
When often I can't work out how to be living for myself?
How can I say what is wrong and what's right, when my situation isn't that of somebody else?

All I ever wanted...

What do you want in life?
Can you even say?
If this were you're song what sort of music would you play?
If you don't know what you want for yourself,
Then how can you be so critical of somebody else?
We can be so self-assured in opinions that we miss out on our dreams ever being fulfilled.
