A Childs Prayer

A childs prayer is 
special you see.
They speak to 
Jesus so openly.


They bow their heads 
and close their eyes.
Talk to Him with no reserve.
His love they so deserve.


They thank God 
for mom and dad.
They tell Him what 
makes them sad.


They thank Him for 
every little thing.
They hold back nothing.
They are really something.


The faith they have 
is so strong.
They don't comprehend 
the things that are wrong.


The joy they 
bring as they grow.
Blesses our hearts
and our souls.


A childs prayer is 
special you see.
Its the hearts reflection 
of you and me.
