At last the time seems to
have come,
Something inside me is different,
I've begun the change-
And real pain takes over what was once so numb.
I can finally feel,
Not just endure.
Emotion has filled my being,
And everything feels so real.
Before I was stuck in a
haze,
Taking it all in,
Never letting it out-
Pushing myself into a daze.
Where control reigned free
Until it boiled over,
And it controlled me,
And the light I could no longer see.
But now its considered my
past,
While these marks I shall forever bare,
And memories flash in and out,
I'm free to be me, at last.
At last it's all been beat,
This battle has been fought and won,
So now I pick up these pieces,
Ad at last realize that I'm finally complete.
