I See

Shadows descend upon the moor,
I go to open the door:
Death catches me,
I cease to see.
Heaven help me,
I want to be.
Where is the sun?
My life's just begun,
The walls close,
My sanity goes.
My heart,
Goes to the dark;
My soul,
Is buried in a hole.
Nothingness around,
Not a sound.
A silent scream,
Is a dream,
Or my reality,
That I don't want to see.
The bottomless pit,
Is where I sit.
Alone, in the dark,
My hand covering my heart,
Hanging on to a thread,
Things forever unsaid,
Cannot wait forever.
My hope is not severed,
I believe,
Redemption I shall receive.
God's light
Is so bright:
I see,
I see.
