The rain, my tears
The thunder, my anger
The lightening, my pain
The silence, my fears
This storm tests the sane
The thunder crashes through the heart
Lightening strikes the soul
A searing pain
I stand and take the fight
Holding my ground
No matter what the cost
Until finally I see the light
The heavens part the ways
The sunshine caresses my face
The cold gives way to heat
I, shall live another day
