The corporation was established to further the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the local church and Christian ministries throughout the world. We believe the Church (as God intended it) is to function as a healing, sending community. Its members should be trained to recognize and respond to needs within the local congregation, the surrounding community and the world. COUNSELSOURCE associates are clergy and mental health professionals who want to use their expertise to build the local church. They may be avilable to supervise or mentor counseling interns or pastoral associates. They may present seminars in their skill areas or provide referral or other services. These dedicated men and women are paid by the local contracting church or organization as independent consultants working with Counselsource. We provide consultation, training and resources to Christian churches, ministries, educational institutions and businesses. Training is accomplished via on-campus education when we have associates on location as faculty; via distance education through Christian colleges and universities; via the internet through the Internet School of Clinical Theology; via on-site workshops and seminars; via publishing quality materials; and through a variety of other products and services.
Workshops are usually conducted on college campuses and in churches. They can be conducted in the location of your choice, whether it's your church, business, or a conference facility. We schedule workshops and seminars throughout the year.
