Having a TJTA workshop in your locale is simple. COUNSELSOURCE makes it easy, affordable and fun. We help churches and organizations plan, organize, and publicize workshops. People who have never planned such events, often tell us after the workshop how we made it easy and enjoyable. We don't expect busy pastors and Christian leaders to reinvent the wheel.

COUNSELSOURCE develops and distributes counseling psychology texts and educational Bibles, assessment tools, and other quality counseling resources.

Who is the workshop for?

This workshop is for you if you fit into one of the following categories:
  • You are a minister who counsels people from your own church or your community and you want to improve your counseling skills.

  • You have started in the field of counseling you but want to learn more about yourself and acquire more effective skills to help others.

  • You are a divinity or counseling student who wants to add an effective tool to your counselor's toolchest for future ministry.

  • You are a lay person who works in a church counseling ministry and you want to improve your counseling skills and learn more about yourself.

  • You are a professional counselor and you want to add an assessment tool that will allow you to help clients without labeling them.

How much does it cost?

The cost for host churches or organizations is very modest.
  • Facilities and space for approximately 40 to 100 participants. Expenses are dependent upon the church or organization. If you have space available for the workshop(s), can furnish equipment such as an overhead projector, video projector, and sound system, and a light morning and afternoon snack (drinks such as coffee, juice or tea, donuts, muffins, etc.) the cost are quite low.

  • Advertising and public relations are handled by COUNSELSOURCE. We do ask that hosts publish information about the upcoming workshop in their bulletins or other official publications. Ministers can often contact their local ministerial and professional associations colleagues and schools and receive free publicity. We supply a publicity pack to all host.

  • Of course, if you want, COUNSELSOURCE can handle everything. There are different hosting arrangements available. Just contact us and tell us what you need.

Tuition for the workshop is $160.00 per person. Some churches give tuition scholarships to their own staff. Full-time students attend the workshop at discounted tuition rates. Churches that host the workshop receive free tuition for two staff members. Pre-registration tuition is significantly discounted.

Who certifies the workshop?

The workshop is certified by Psychological Publications, Inc., publishers of the Taylor-Johnson Temperament Analysis ® and COUNSELSOURCE ® Corporation. . Workshop presenters are certified trainers.
Participants who successfully complete the workshop will receive a certificate and authorization to purchase and use the TJTA ®.
