I bought a VHS copy of the film "It Ain't Easy" from a guy who was selling them on ebay. This film is from 1972 and features Arctic Cat sleds and some of the "stunt" riding was done by Charlie Lofton, Larry Coltom, Paul Eggebraaten, Ken Beito, and some other "Team Arctic" boys. Well, after watching this video, I have to say that it is definitely a "B" movie. Poor acting aside, the snowmobile scenes are still pretty cool. Sleds include a 1971 EXT, 1972 Puma, 1972 EXT, 1971 Ski Doo TNT, and various other brands during the racing scenes. There is a neat Yamaha crash and a Brut that hits a tree and "blows up"....... Check out the "review" I found in an old Snow Goer magazine. I also found a "making of" kind of story in another magazine. I'll be posting that one, too.

VHS COPIES OF THIS FILM ARE AVAILABLE, IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEE THIS "CLASSIC" FILM. Check the "members only" info for details, or e-mail me (Paul W.) for info on how to order. The interest in this movie has been pretty good, even though the film is rather lame.......

"IT AIN'T EASY" - I have been informed by Larry P. that I should not be selling copies of this film. Larry got his copy off of ebay (paid big bucks). I got my copy from the guy who was selling them on ebay (paid small bucks). Larry P. says he has permission from the film's producer to sell copies. I don't have permission from the film's producer to sell copies (but neither did the guy on ebay.......). So, instead of selling copies of this film, I have some good condition, used VHS tapes for sale. They are used because they have some old snowmobile movie on them. But you can record over it if you want, as the tapes themselves are like new. Cost of one of these used tapes is $10.00. Or, if you already have all the manuals, you can get a good, used VHS tape as your freebie for joining the club.

wink, wink, nudge, nudge.......

1967-1975 HOOD IDENTIFICATION GUIDE / The first digit of the serial number is the model year. Up through 1969 there was a "dash" between the model year and the build number. From 1970 on, there was no "dash". Example: 8-xxxxxx would be a 1968. 8xxxxxx would be a 1978. Now that you know the year of the chassis, are you sure it has the right hood on it?
