BONDSTRAND® SSL HIGH PRESSURE PIPING

Available in sizes 200 (8") through to 1000 NB (40").
Design pressure ranges from 1000 psi (40") up to 4600 psi (8").
Design operating temperature is 93º C.
Pipe has a 3.5:1 design safety factor and Coil-Lock® joint has a 4:1 safety factor.
The hybrid Coil-Lock jointing system enables extremely fast installation with only 10% of the barge crew size required by equivalent standard carbon steel pipe.
Can be installed by standard J-lay, S-lay or tow methods.
Easily tied into production facilities.
Does not require special coating of the joints.
No additional corrosion protection required.
Studies show that a SSL pipeline will reduce maintenance costs by up to 300% over a seventeen year life of a pipeline carrying natural gas or crude which suffers corrosion from sulphur reducing bacteria, CO² or H²S.
Does not require inspection by intelligent pigs.
Can be concrete weight coated for on bottom stability.
