MATERIAL Columbia Knitting and Crochet Perle (Art. 611A) No. 3 - 2 balls White Columbia Steel Crochet Hook No. 5 or Columbia Mercerized Cordonnet (Art. 561) No.3 3 balls White Columbia Steel Crochet Hook No. 6

INSTRUCTIONS ROUND 16 - 1 Sg C into first stitch, 1 Sg C over next whole stitch of preceding row, 1 Sg C over next of 1 Sg C over next whole stitch of preceding row, repeat all around 3 times widen on ends in same way as before mentioned. 3 more rows Sg C and start as follows: ROUND 1 - 1 Sg C, 2 Ch, 2 DC into same stitch where joined, skip 2 stitches, 1 Sg C, 2 Ch, 2 DC into next stitch * skip 2 stitches, 1 Sg C, 2 Ch, 2 DC into next stitch repeat * all around join with Sl stitch. ROUND 2 - 2 Ch, 1 Sg C over centre of 2 Ch of preceding row. 6 Ch, 1 Sg C into fourth Ch from hook 2 DC over same 2 Ch stitches where the Sg C just made is * 1 Sg C over next 2 Ch, 6 Ch, 1 Sg C into fourth Ch from hook, 2 DC over same 2 Ch repeat * all around, join. For larger size add 3 more Ch stitches and make 3 more Sg C on each side of Ch stitches and work three or more rows of Sg C before and after fancy stitch.
