| Day 1: | USA/San Jose- Depart via flight to San Jose, Costa Rica. Upon arrival, representatives will meet and escort you to your hotel. Balance of the day at leisure. |
| Day 2: | San Jose- Start your tour this morning with
a visit to the majestic Poas Volcano,
the most famous sight in Costa Rica. Poas is active and its colorful crater is one of the widest and deepest in the world. You can stand on the edge and look down into the boiling, bubbling cauldron. After lunch, visit Sarchi, the community known for its quality wood work, decorative oxcarts and furniture. Return to your hotel early in the evening. (Lunch included) |
| Day 3: | San Jose (Pacific Cruise)- Early morning transfer for the world famous "Pacific Island Cruise" aboard the new Calypso's Super Yacht, Manta Raya, for a refreshing day of cruising. Opportunity to visit some of the islands in the Gulf of Nicoya. Try fishing, snorkeling or swimming in the blue water and enjoy the white sand beaches. Continental breakfast, barbeque lunch and soft drinks are included Return to San Jose for overnight. |
| Day 4: | San Jose/Tortuguero National Park- This morning you will be transferred to the canal area of the Atlantic coast. En route you will visit the fabulous Braulio Carrillo National Park. Board a river boat for an exciting 50 km trip through tropical rain forests along the Tortuguero Canals to Mawamba Lodge or Pachira Lodge. Overnight at the lodge. (Lunch and Dinner included) |
| Day 5: | Tortuguero National Park- After breakfast continue your tour along the brackish and fresh water canals, forests and marshlands. You may spot a host of colorful birds, monkeys and crocodiles as you explore the dense rain forest. This location is teaming with tropical wildlife. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included) |
| Day 6: | Tortuguero/San jose/Quepos- Early morning, transfer to the local airport for your flight to San Jose to connect with your flight to Quepos. Here you will be met and escorted to your hotel in Manuel Antonio. (Breakfast) |
| Day 7: | Manuel Antonio- At leisure. Take an optional tour or get that perfect tropical tan where the sun meets the beach in this fascinating national park. |
| Day 8: | Quepos/San Jose- This day you will be transferred to the airport for a short flight to the capital and overnight at your hotel. |
| Day 9: | San Jose/USA- Your host escort will meet you and assist you with your transfer to the airport for your flight to the USA and home. |
