A multipartite virus. It infects both files (COM and EXE) and boot sectors on floppies and hard disks. Infections occur when an infected file is executed or a
system is booted from an infected diskette. The virus is programmed to load itself into memory. Once memory resident, Delwin.1759 will infect files (*.COM and *.EXE) and diskettes as they are accessed. In addition to infecting, Delwin.1759
contains a non-malicious payload. On December 26th, the virus may shake the screen. Stealth techniques are also present in the virus, Deliwn.1759, making it difficult for users to see the increase in byte size of infected files.
