Doll Lovers..Everywhere....Your Help is Needed..For A New Concept of Doll Museum.... The Historical Museum Of Dolls!

Dear Doll Friends, I am very proud to announce my good doll artist friend, Carole Keller, and I have begun the fund raising for a New Doll Museum....The Historical Museum Of Dolls, here in SE North Carolina, to be located between Jacksonville and Wilmington, easily accessible from I-95, I-40 or US 17...about one hour N of Myrtle Beach, SC...... a Doll Museum that will be Like No Other..and sure to be enjoyed by all!

After months of waiting for approval by State and Federal Government, we have received Non-Profit Status for a Publicly-Funded Doll Museum, which will contain many exciting doll exhibits, telling the History of Dolls and Doll Making, with Classrooms for hands-on Learning for Children.

Starting from "scratch" is a tough road...We must raise All the funds needed from the Public Sectors, and are counting on not only Corporations, but also, We Are Counting On Doll Lovers, and Doll Makers Everywhere..to help make the museum and the Ideals of Doll Making a Reality for Now and Generations to Come! Of course, I will still be here for your doll needs as well.

....
Carole is the founder, and I'm the co-founder. Between us we have about 50-years of Doll Making Experience. She is an avid Antique Doll Repro-Artist, and we are like "two peas in a pod" when it comes to Dolls. We have worked on many projects together..and this is sure to be the biggest of all! We have already put in hundreds of hours, and will continue to do so with your help, to bring about this Great concept for the Museum, as not only an Entertainment Resource, but also an Educational one, including hands-on Doll Classes for Adults and Children. The museum will also be sponsoring Charitable Events for Needy Children.

On the Main Exhibit Hall, will be a Replica of a late 1800's Doll Factory, that you will walk through and enjoy many animated exhibits of How the Early Factory Dolls were produced. After the Factory there remains many, many other exhibits to see...after all..Doll Making has been around for thousands of years!

A large Auditorium will house many Special Events, including Inviting Well Known Doll Artists for appearances, and Special Doll Showings. Special Doll Auctions will be held from time to time.

There is so much more to tell you about This New Exciting Concept of a Doll Museum, and I will be adding more pages here ...including our artist's Conceptual Tour (CLICK ON LINK at the bottom) which begins as you walk through our indoor Gardenscape. I hope you will take a look at it soon.

Carole and I are determined to make this a Doll Lover's Delight for All to Enjoy! The location will be close to the Beautiful SE Coastal NC Beaches, a great vacation area with sun, surf, fishing, golfing, shopping, great food, lodging, campgrounds, other nearby historical sites, and just plain relaxing fun! Something for everybody!.. and easily accessible to all!
We Are Calling On All Doll Artists, Doll Makers, and Doll Lovers Everywhere to Help Make this, The Historical Museum Of Dolls, a Reality! I Know Together We Can Do It! I am appealing to you as a sister doll lover to help us build this Doll Museum as like no other in the U.S.! We desperately need a response from all doll people, and if each would even contribute only One Dollar, the goal would be possible. Just think of the personal gratification of knowing that by your contribution, donating to this great project, whether small or large, you would be playing an important part in making the Museum a reality. Due to the sad and horrible events of 9-11 (least we forget) many funds are no longer available from corporations. This project should not be a victory for the evil ones, but instead we should show them how they have united the American people..not defeated us, and pull together as doll lovers to live our lives the way we want, not as they would try to change our ways. Since that day, A Tribute Room is being planned for all our loved ones who were lost in that evil event, we shall never forget them.

The Museum is pleased with the response of, and thanks the many Renown American Doll Artists who have offered to donate some of their own works to the Museum, and when we are under roof we will be receiving them. As Doll Lovers..May we please count on You for One Dollar?...We Invite you to become part of this worthy project.......
