Disk of the moon Tattoo Co. was formed from and is a by-product of Barking
Lizard Tattoo. Disk of the Moon has presented a variety of ritual
tattoo and body arts since leaving Barking Lizard in 1992. We would
like to take this chance to thank our many clients for all of your support
and wonderful ideas.

Our Philosophy
For centuries, tattoos and body modifications have been symbols of spiritual
accomplishment and holy art. Tattoos have been used as rites of passage,
tribal affiliations and marks of places one has yet to achieve. At
Disk of the Moon we treat body art and the process as ritual. We
perform the age-old process of ritual tattoo with you. The rite begins
with the thought and placing of your design. After you receive your
body art, the ritual continues as it heals and becomes a part of you.
At Disk of the Moon we take pride in our artistic skill and we will design
a piece to meet the clients needs. We welcome your designs and ideas.
Trained professionals will discuss the placement, process, and pain with
each client.
At Disk of the Moon, we provide a calm, comfortable setting for you body
art. Our tattooing and piercing areas are private and clean.
Our shop and useable space is spotless at all times. All surface
space is cleaned prior to and after each client.
The safety of our client is our first concern. We use the best technology
available to ensure that our sterilization meets or surpasses that of hospital
standards.
It has been said that getting a tattoo is a ritual with the tattooist as
a shaman who offers the magick. At Disk of the Moon we believe that
your body art should be a very spiritual experience. Our intent is
to bring the client's vision to life and to give him/her a piece of body
art that he/she will take pride in for years to come.
