very little or no experience in faux finishing. This class will teach you
proper surface preparation from repairing surfaces, testing previously
painted surfaces for latex paint or oil base paint, proper surface primer,
and also what masking tape and paper that will be needed to prepare your
surface for painting. These are the most important steps for any finish
to be applied, from your normal painting, hanging wallpaper, or doing a
faux finish.
The two finishes you will be taught can be done with any traditional
glaze, from a latex glaze, oil base glaze or other faux finishing lines
of products. You will learn the difference between a positive and negative
Rag-Roll, and also the much sought after Parchment Finish.

This class is for those who want to go beyond the beginner's classes. Experience
is still not necessary to take this class. This workshop covers more techniques
than the two other beginners classes. This class covers the glazes you
will find in the stores whether oil, latex or other faux finishing systems.
This class will teach you proper surface preparation from repairing
surfaces, testing previously painted surfaces for latex paint or oil base
paint, tell you how to properly prime your surface, and also what masking
tape and paper that will be needed to prepare your surface for painting.
These are the most important steps for any finish to be applied, from your
normal painting, hanging wallpaper, or doing a faux finish.
You are now going to learn how to mix glaze color. From there
you will be taught the Multi-Color Wall Glazing techniques. Then
you will move onto one of the most popular finishes of all, The Old
World Fresco Finish. We will then move onto the rich look of Leather
finishes followed by Color Washing, Multicolor-Blending, and Parchment
