Sharon Weber
Sharon Weber is the Director of the Laramie Youth Crisis Center. She found her way to crisis intervention inadvertently and fourteen years later still feels as if it’s the right niche. Sharon began working with families at the Crisis Center as a Youth Worker and found much satisfaction in it, but could always see the potential for new avenues to help families. With the support and help of the agency she helped create three new programs to help prevent crisis, a family preservation program, a parenting program, and a drop-out prevention program. Along the way Sharon learned a bit and eventually they kicked her up to being the official paper pusher, also known as the director. Sharon is a University of Wyoming graduate 1996, Consumer and Family Sciences.
