Birds

All photos by Frank Magallanes

One of my favorite flying animals is the bird. In particular the Humming Bird which is constantly at work on our red trumpet flowering bush. These fast flying birds can be seen inserting their long beaks and licking the nectar from the flower. At times, they can be seen dueling with bees that are also busy at work gathering pollen. Also Oregon has its usual fare including buzzards (turkey vultures).
