Abigail and Daniel DeWolf Scott lived during the late 1800's and early Twentieth Century in Dorchester, Mass. along with a family of four two boys and two girls. The Adams Street house in Cedar Grove neighbourhood was home their children: George A. Scott, Charles Winfield Scott, Amelia Sterling Scott and Alice G. Scott.

On the back of the photograph is written:

 " Grandpa & Grandma Scott's house on Adams St. Cedar Grove, Dorchester, Mass. - around bend going N. from cemetery just beyond little Square near corner of Melvern St. where my aunts lived"

The identification was written by Dorothy Mae (Scott) Little who was a granddaughter of Abigail & Daniel DeWolf Scott, being the daughter of Lilla Abbot and George A. Scott.  Dorothy was born January 15, 1889 in Dorchester, Mass.



The original photograph is part of Nettie (Little) Poorman's collection in Florida.  Nettie is the daughter of Dorothy Mae (Scott) Little.
