Two confirmed pictures exist of Jane Hunter Dill, who married David Scott also of Ste Croix, Nova Scotia on November 5, 1853.

The oldest taken at the age of 61 is not a clear image but includes details of her family and home. At the time the picture she was mother of eight children and a farm wife on a 200 farm.

Two images located in 2001 are thought be Jane. One from a pair of matched Ambrotypes, with her groom David Scott was likely taken when she married at age 26 (below)

A second picture, was possibly taken when she was in her 40's during a time she lived in Halifax, NS. The family business Ste Croix House was listed as Commission Merchant Wholesale and Retail in American & West Indian Goods and was located at the foot of Sackville between Lower Water Street and Hollis Street.
