"DEEP INSIDE"

I'M LOOKING IN YOUR HAZEL EYES,
AND WONDER IF YOU SEE.
THAT PERSON DEEP INSIDE OF ME,
THAT PERSON THAT IS ME.

I'M UNDERNEATH THE OUTSIDE SHELL,
JUST WAITING FOR YOU TO FIND,
THAT DEEP INSIDE,
WITHOUT A DOUBT,
I'M LOVING AND I'M KIND.

SOMETIMES WE LOOK AT BEAUTY FIRST,
AND NEVER STOP TO SEE,
THAT DEEP INSIDE,
THERE IS A PLACE,
THAT YOU WOULD
LOVE TO BE.

SO COME AND BRING YOURSELF INSIDE,
AND SLIP WITHIN MY SOUL
AND LET ME LOVE YOU DEEPLY
UNTILL WE BOTH GROW OLD!

"Growing Old"

Way down deep in the pit of my soul,
Is a world that only I can control.
Where the sun shines bright at the wave of my hand,
and the stars above twinkle at my command!
In my mind,, I'm still young, and pretty, and strong,
But my body, so unhealthy proves my mind wrong.
So whenever the aches and pains get me down,
I climb deep inside, to the pit of my soul,
where my mind and my body, will never, ever
Grow old!!!!

"Grandma & Grandpa"
I was so many years ago,
the night I met you and Nick.
You caught my eye, you weren't shy,
you were driving your Dads 59 Buick.
Yes is was so many years ago,,,
or so it seems,,,
and I remember The Everly Brothers
were singing Dream, Dream, Dream.
We were so young and full of life,
and always fooling around, and I remember
The Everly Brothers were singing "Cathy's Clown"
We had such fun at the Bow Wow and Rockaway Beach,
You taught me to drive
you said I was easy to teach.
Such fun we had in your 55 ford,
with the stars shining above,,, and I remember
The Everly Brothers were singing "Bye Bye Love"
Years later we had a son named Darin,
The light of my life, a real little Cutie,
And I remember The Everly Brothers were singing
"Wake Up Little Susie"
30 years have now passed,,and
he's a grown man at last,
But still my pride and my joy...
He's loving, and caring, and I dont mind sharing,
He will always be "my little boy""
Sometimes I think of your mom, who's
watching with love from above,
and I know that you really do Miss her.
But how proud she must be, when she looks down to see,
that she has a Great Grand child named
Melissa!!!!!!
So now I am a Grandma,, and You are a Grandpa
We really made a good team.
And to think it all began,
when the Everly Brothers sang,,
Dream, Dream,, Dream !

The day her son Darin's baby girl Melissa
was born......

"SHADES OF THE SOUL"

As morning approaches, the brite sunlight
beaming into my room, I cover my eyes and
whisper "GO AWAY" Can't you see I want the
darkness? For only in the darkness is where
I can escape the pain., So leave me be!!!!

Why does this pain come back to haunt me like
this? Just yesterday,, I welcomed the sunlight?
When will I learn ??

After so many years I trusted again , and thought
"at last my heart can bask in the sunlight again,
Only to discover that it was the DEVIL, who grabbed
my heart , Pulled at the strings, and crushed
my soul beneath his thumb. Let me crawl back to
deep within my soul,, where I can hide from him.
Let me cover my eyes when the sunshine appears, and
pull down the shades of my heart ,so the sunlight
cannot come inside!

Just let me die alone,
in the darkness of my soul !!!!!!!!!!!!

"Come Back Another Time"

When death comes
knocking at my door,
I'll simply turn him down.

I'll say as kindly as I can,
No Thank You Sir,
"I'll stick around"

I'll just explain,
as best I can,
that I'm not
finished here.
I have not fullfilled
all my dreams,
"I'll whisper in his ear"

I've made so many promises,
that I have yet to keep,
I can't go now,
I'm sorry sir,
but promises must keep!!

I'll tell you what,
I'll say to him,
come back another time,

Come back when
there is " peace on earth"
for me, and ALL MANKIND.
