FAMILY
When you're young you don't always think about it.
You don't realize that someday it could be gone.
Then suddenly it's ripped apart
Your world, your life, your heart.
When you start a family of your own,
hoping to never be alone,
you swear this time you'll hold it together,
your family will last forever.
Your kids will have what you never did,
A mother, a father and maybe more friends.
One day you realize it all slipped away,
the love is gone and the kids have to pay.
You try to go on with your life best you can
and then you find a sweet loving man.
With him you try to live once more
and pray that it doesn't end like before.
